Developing Coaches
For criminal justice leaders dissatisfied with the one-size-fits-none approach to training and continued education for their staff, meet Journey.Do. Research suggests helping learners grow new skills and sustain those skills must include an alignment of motivation, connecting with lived stories, receiving growth-oriented real-time feedback, and reinforcing change through application.
Journey.Do transforms these research-based components of learning into their new virtual platform allowing staff access to growing their skills and knowledge, anytime and anywhere. Once staff log in, they will navigate through a series of content modules or “journeys.” However, these content-models are not one-size-fits-none, instead, they are powered by AI, allowing each learner their own growth experience. This includes first aligning motivation through an intake meeting and developing a growth plan. Then, the learner will navigate growth journeys where they will learn new knowledge through articles and videos, hear personal stories informed by this knowledge, apply the knowledge themselves in various prompts, and discuss with small groups. At every stage of the growth journeys, learners get real-time data on their own progress. If learners struggle with understanding or applying certain concepts, the AI generated platform finds new ways to reinforce the content with new approaches, stories, and exercises.
The Coach(Referee) Model for Change relies on the Journey.Do platform to bring coaches to the big leagues. Once connected to the Journey.Do platform, coaches will learn more about adopting a coaching mindset, creating success plans for individuals under supervision, and creating coaching connections that truly help people feel seen and supported – even when they take a step back. With Journey.Do, coaches will elevate their game-day playbooks and prepare all their players for the big game.
