Rebecca Barboza is a Senior Associate with JSP and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She began her career conducting assessments and providing clinical services to young people and families impacted by trauma and involved in the child welfare and criminal justice systems. This work inspired her interest in transforming systems to better meet the needs of those impacted. Ms. Barboza continues to apply her clinical skills to build cultures of collaboration and mobilize action among multidisciplinary teams. She has extensive experience managing data-driven projects from inception through evaluation while building organizational capacity.

Ms. Barboza has a B.A. in Psychology from Elon University and a M.A. in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is passionate about advancing racial equity and centering the voices of impacted individuals in the criminal legal system.
