Communications Associate - Illustrator & Designer

Franco Zacha is the Communications Associate – Illustrator & Designer for JSP. His pronouns are he, him, and his. Franco has a BFA degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and over five years of experience as a freelance illustrator. His paintings aim to capture the emotions in stories about social and criminal justice through the lens of solemnity and beauty. Franco’s work has been frequently published in a variety of online and print publications like The New York Times, The New Yorker and The Atlantic. Prior to JSP, Franco served as an art director in the non-profit sector designing style guides and visual assets while also educating people on how images can help convey dense scientific information to the general public.

As a member of the Influence & Storytelling team, Franco’s goal is to help stir empathy in our partners, promote our wide portfolio of projects, and aid in transforming the criminal justice system through image-making.
