Billie Grobe has worked in the probation field in Arizona for over 32 years, starting as a field officer in Maricopa County and recently retiring as Chief Probation Officer for Yavapai County Adult Probation. As Chief, she was responsible for operating a department of 96 employees, including field services, pre-trial services, pre-sentence investigations, and other court-related special programs. Her department provided supervision for approximately 1,800 probationers in Yavapai County. She is a past President of the Arizona Chief Probation Officers Association (ACPOA), and completed a term as Region 14 Representative to the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA). Ms. Grobe is active in her community, serving as a board member of the Yavapai Reentry Project; the Community Counts Board of Directors; and the Executive Board of the Yavapai County Substance Abuse Coalition, MATFORCE. She is a past Vice-President and Executive Board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yavapai County. Currently, Ms. Grobe is a consultant on criminal justice and pretrial services for Justice System Partners in coordination with the Laura and John Arnold Foundation.
