
Angelo Stabler
Associate
Angelo Stabler is an Associate with JSP. He has over 17 years of diverse experience working on the front lines of socially and economically disenfranchised communities. His diverse working experience ranges from community center youth services, extended day treatment program, group home, a teacher in the educational field, childcare service director, athletic coach and trainer, and the non-profit sector. Angelo created a non-profit called Guidance to Success “GtS” while attending Nebraska Wesleyan University for his undergraduate. The mission for GtS was to provide preventative and proactive approaches for youth to guide them to becoming successful in life, school, and sports. He served as GtS Executive Director for 14 years, serving the Lincoln, Nebraska youth and families. Angelo developed programs and services, such as educational, fitness, community involvement, athletics, agricultural experiences, personal development, and mental health. He still mentors and coaches youth. He has viewed the criminal justice system in several different perspectives and was on the Disproportionate Minority Contact committee and worked a few projects with the juvenile justice program in Lancaster County, NE. Angelo’s main responsibility for JSP is being the Project Lead for the State of Nebraska 5-Key reentry project. Angelo believes he was blessed to break generational cycles and cherishes the opportunity to provide a guiding hand to help others.
Angelo earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Nebraska Wesleyan University and his master’s degree in Public Administration at Bellevue University. Endorsement in Education for 6 – 12 social studies teacher. He is a High School Varsity basketball coach and is very active in youth basketball in his community.
